School is back in session and holiday merchandise is showing up on store shelves! How can that be?

As you’ll soon read, we made good use of the summer break.

2025 Annual Shareholder and Business Meeting

We held our 2nd annual business meeting in July. The girls are pleased with our progress and have big ideas for what to do next. They love getting to talk about the books and make terrific ambassadors.

In less than a year, we have produced 5 different storybooks, in 2 different languages, and 2 different formats. That means we have issued 20 ISBNs PLUS our first activity book. We have met and exceeded our Year 1 strategic goals!

Our first book birthday is October 10!

A very real business goal right now is to achieve US trademark registration of The Little Jesus Chronicles. We applied April 4 of 2024. We’re hopeful their decision won’t be much longer.

Discipleship Conference (Archdiocese of Oklahoma City)

We had an absolutely incredible time at the OKC Discipleship Conference on August 9. More than 1200 attended. It was epic. Here is a link to a video that Olivia’s mommy Jill made.

PLUSH WOLFIE

We are testing a new item — a plush stuffy of our mascot Wolfie.

A huggable Wolfie is a Year 2 goal the girls established last year. We have loved on and snuggled with about a dozen different options before narrowing it down to the one above. We are new at this and are certain there’s a better way. For now, we are doing the detail work ourselves.

These limited edition Wolfie stuffies debuted at the OKC Discipleship Conference and were an instant hit. We hope it goes well because this fellow will make a terrific companion for any of our storybooks — but especially for those just starting out with Book 1 Little Jesus and the Lonely Puppy.

Sneak Peak: Book 6: Little Jesus and the Muddy Masterpiece

It’s raining, it’s pouring! At least it is here where we live — the spot where Arkansas and Oklahoma hug each other along the Arkansas river. And we have mud. Lots of mud.

This story includes guest appearances by Little Jesus' grandfather Saba Jacob (Abba Joseph’s dad) as well as friends Viviana and Olivia. It’s a rainy day just like today. And the story answers one of the girls’ original questions: did Little Jesus play in the mud. Yes, dear child, he likely played in mud!

Coming to online bookstores and partner merchants everywhere October 1!

Welcome, New Merchants!

We are happy to share that we are now available in three more Oklahoma shops!

First, Catholic Book & Gift Store invited us to sell our books at their lovely shop in Tulsa, OK. We met Jamie Jabbour and her mother Carol Bryan at the Discipleship Conference. Like our team at Little Jesus Chronicles, Catholic Book & Gift Store is family owned and operated though they’ve been serving their community for a few decades now. They provide faith-themed merchandise and are THE go-to when shopping for Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation gifts. Follow their Facebook page!

Next, St. Gregory’s Abbey added our books to The Monk’s Marketplace located in the lobby of the Monastery. We met Father Peter and Brother Joseph at the Discipleship Conference. The Abbey, located in Shawnee, OK, traces its roots back to the 1875 arrival of monks from the French Monastery of Notre Dame. The grounds are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Monks’ shop is best known for their beef, honey and soap. Follow their Facebook page!

And finally, in August we partnered with Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine in Oklahoma City. Father Stanley (1935-1981) was born in Okarche, OK. Father Stanley entered the priesthood and eventually joined Saint James the Apostle Catholic Church in Santiago Atitlán, Guatemala. Pope Francis opened the official

Cause of Canonization in 2007 and the process is ongoing. To learn more about Father Stanley’s life and the shrine that now serves as a beacon of faith, follow their Facebook page.

EVENTS!

Our first stop will be at the St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church on Saturday, September 13, for the Altar Society’s Craft Fair. This annual fair is a big event for the community and in its 3rd decade! If you are in the Yukon (OK) area between 9 and 3, stop in and say hi!

Team Little Jesus will also be on hand at the Tulsa Catholic Women’s Conference the last weekend in September. This is a private 3-day event. Tickets and details are available here!

Before we wrap this one up, I am happy to share that Bear was adopted! Yes, that adorable lonely puppy has his furever family. His new parents travelled from Virginia to pick him up. They promised loads of hugs and adventures along mountain trails and beaches. We know Bear is going to have a great life. Thank you to those big-hearted humans!
