Family Time!

If you received our last newsletter, you’ll recall that The Little Jesus Chronicles founder Viviana was preparing for her First Communion. We made the trek to Virginia to celebrate Viviana’s big day. And co-creator Olivia and mom Jill were also able to attend. As a mother and grandmother, it was especially sweet to have my two adult kiddos and my two grands all together on Mother’s Day. I’ve not been with both my kids on Mother’s Day since at least 2011.

Congratulations to all those who had special milestones such as First Communion in May.

While we were in the DC area for Viviana’s special event, we popped over to the Museum of the Bible. If you aren’t familiar with DC, this particular museum is private and located just a few blocks south of the U.S. Capitol building.

The museum is beautifully constructed with spectacular exhibits. Hands down, our favorite section was the World of Jesus of Nazareth. This exhibit showcased life in the first century. Actors, I mean villagers, were on hand to explain their lifestyles, culture, and faith.

We were caught off guard in a good way when we explored the village. It was as though someone had brought our storybooks to life! It was both uncanny and deeply moving. Dare I say, there was a sense of divine connection. Check out this video to see what I mean!

Trademark News!

It took 25 months and 8 days BUT the United States Patent and Trademark Office has finally ruled on our application. Honestly, we haven’t received their official written notification via the mail but have been stalking our listing on their website. Imagine our surprise after 738 days of watching to see our status changed on May 12. There are more steps to the process but getting to this point is, well, rather huge.

More on our plans to use the registered trademark will be revealed in June!

Little Jesus Book Mobile Idling in June!

As mentioned in the April newsletter, our Little Jesus Book Mobile won’t be travelling in June. We aren’t resting though — we have our annual Fancy Pants Publishing business meeting to plot our adventure for the next 12 months.

We have exciting shows coming up in July and August. Stay tuned! We’ll have details including locations and dates next month.

Storybook 9

This wonderful story about grace is planned for release in July. We have seen the sketches and are excited that #9 provides another “day in the life of Little Jesus” story that reinforces the values our world desperately needs! The title is top secret for now!

The activity book that accompanies our third bundle will be produced after Book 9 releases. That means we will have 3 bundles of 3 stories PLUS an accompanying activity book available for holiday shopping.
